SCHOOL STORY

Palacio de Granda was founded in 1975 by a family that put its heart and soul into expanding it, and by the mid-1980s it included all stages of school education. In 1998, the boarding facilities were built, which welcome students from other countries and other regions in Spain.

The school’s emblem originates from a family that owned the Palace in the past, which now forms the oldest part of our school.

In 2007 and 2008, Palacio de Granda joined the Laude group, which included schools not only in Spain but also the United Kingdom.

In turn, Laude schools became part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) in 2014.

School Mission and Commitment

Palacio de Granda’s mission is to provide a high-quality, multi-lingual education, which broadens and enriches students’ lives. An education that contributes to the development of their ethical, social, moral, physical and intellectual values. One of our main goals is to inspire and awaken a passion for study and learning in each of our students. This type of education gives our students the knowledge and abilities to become responsible global citizens and successful, not just in their higher education but also in their attitude towards society and the environment.

We are committed to instilling values such as independence, tolerance and understanding, responsibility and teamwork in students in all stages of education. We are also dedicated to developing interpersonal skills such as communication, listening, collaboration, creativity and self-confidence, which provide the foundation for their future.
